Who is covered?
This policy covers you and your legal/traditional spouse plus up to four dependent children. If you get married after the commencement of your policy, the date of marriage will be noted as your spouse’s commencement date.

- Tell us if any of the details or declarations you have made are incorrect or if any of your details or declarations change.
- Report any legal or labour matter to us within 31 days of you becoming aware.
- Give us true and complete information. Any false information may lead to the cancellation of your policy, and you will be liable for all our legal costs incurred.
To claim on the Legal Cover policy, contact our call centre on 0860 10 50 85 from Monday to Friday, between 08:00 and 17:00 and one of our helpful consultants will assist you.
When you sign up for legal cover, you can include more than the primary policy member. The coverage will protect your spouse and up to four children. Children who are unmarried and unemployed are covered until they are 21. They will be covered until they are 25 years old if registered as students.
Premium costs depend on the plan you take out. You can choose from the essential, elite, or elite plus plans. Your monthly premium of R100 000 in legal cover could cost you as little as R99 per month. Contact us to learn more about the costs of legal insurance in South Africa.
